Overheard

A woman gesturing and babbling to me indicating that she was going to cut into my line to the cashier at the Aldi's.

Oh no you didn't! (said with jersey accent)

I gave her my bestest mean-momma face. She did not fall under my spell.

Grr and arg!

Be strong! If the look doesn't work, then use Nana's trick and babble right back at her in Dutch or Italian, and you must do the bumper-cart thing and physically keep her from cutting in >:|

Here's my fav phrase, taught to me by a genuine Italian:

KAHT-so! VAUGHT-in-nay nowm fa-MAY ger-AH-lay le PAH-lay! Feelio de una putana! (phonetic, or as much as I can make it!)

Which means Richard! Don't make me rotate your balls. Son of a b*tch!

Your accent will be atrocious, but I don't think anyone will know but you & me, and I won't tell *wink wink*

We Midwesterner's have allowed our polite natures to enable rude behavior. It stops here!

What's wrong with people???? I think I have to agree with Tail-Kinker. "We Midwesterner's have allowed our polite natures to enable rude behavior." I am originally from Indiana, but live in New Jersey now. My friends tell me all the time that I'm too nice.

You let her live? Yep, you may be too nice.

It's the SPECIAL people who think it's OK to do this, hate when that happens.

So, are you saying that you let her break in line??

I'm confused as to what you are saying.

It was a moment I have to say.

I stood there contemplating making a fuss, but just couldn't.

She was not worth my righteous indignation. Ha!

I would have loooooooved to have been there so you could take notes...

B-man - What are you inferring?

:)

Yes, it's true. I'm all talk.

I was at work Friday (I work in a Big Bookstore where Starbucks coffee is served) on my break waiting in line in the cafe to get my regular latte where an assclown butt right in front of me in line. Fortunately for me the baristas saw this action and asked what I wanted first. I just gave him the look.
