I Find My Inspiration

Where do you find it? Do you post photos of yourself at a smaller size? Do you post photos of yourself heavier? Do you post photos of others that inspire you?

Here is a woman with a body I think is great. Just a natural body. No huge, fake boobies, no crazy muscles; just a strong and lean look that I aspire to.
Link me with inspiration you are finding!

JLO on Idol. Hate that bitch, she is so frigging delicious, that I would do her even tho she is a woman...

damn, I am sick.

However, moving along....

In my younger days, I used to hang a new and fabulous outfit on my door jam, and seeing it every day gave me inspiration.

Now, I just want to feel good. I have a calendar and I put a star on the calendar each time I work out. It is fun to do and inspires me to workout at least thirty minutes 3-4 times a week.

After all, I live across the street from the beach. How hard can that be?

I posted this in the wrong place -- your OTHER blog, but reposting here.

As for celebrity inspiration...hmmm.....Michelle Pfeiffer? Diane Lane? I try to stay real and identify with people as close to my age as possible. There are others, but they've escaped me for now.

(And by the way, Oxygen Magazine! Huzzah! That magazine is a HUGE source of ongoing inspiration for me.)

Feeling/looking the best I have in years keeps my inspiration lit and motivates me to be my personal best.

It inspires me when others in my world see me as a fitness icon for older women (or even men) and will approach me regularly for advice and direction. That both flatters AND inspires me...and I just do my best at "keeping it lit," hopefully.

I'm inspired by all people who take their health and fitness seriously, who are proactive about it, and who "wear it well." It's contagious, that passion!

Whenever I run to Target on break and see all the cute corporate Target girls with their fancy bullseye badges, wearing their skinny dress pants or pencil skirts with their button-down shirts tucked in, I want to be one of them!

Hi Deborah!

I stumbled upon your blog through another blog. Apparently, you ticked somebody off with your talk of butter...shame on you! "My kinda gal," I thought...so I headed on over here.

I've read the science that supports eating this way, and it makes perfect sense to me. I struggle...I'm a complete carb addict...but the more I do it, the better I feel.

Right now, I'm obsessed with chronic dehydration...which I think may be the underlying cause of an injury that's preventing me from working out right now. I threw out all my diet soda and am drinking only water for the first time in my life. OK...except for my daily iced coffee with Stevia and heavy cream!

Where do I find inspiration? From real people like you! Thank you...and I'll be following along!
