Are you in that binder?
The comment has gone crazy. I believe this comment points to a bigger issue. Issues for women. I need to think about this for a minute.
Watch out for women. We are making the difference. We always have. Whether you live in the suburbs or you live in the city or you live in a rural setting.
Listen to what we do.

It's just such a strange comment, but then I think he's strange in so very many ways.
I didn't think that it had the ring of truth when he said it, like he was making it up as he spoke. And guess what? It's not! Because, before Mitt was elected, a group of women saw that women were underrepresented in Mass gov't and they collected the resumes of qualified women in a binder and delivered it to him after the election. And as far as his state staff having the most women in the nation -- not true. AND he hired women for departments he didn't really care about, not the major agencies. And the number of women gradually decreased every year he was in office.
One comment I read was, Romney worked in business all of his adult life -- he didn't know of any qualified women to hire for his staff???

That's exactly how I felt Deb. It was condescending to imply he had to SEARCH out for any qualified women. Make a CONCERTED effort.
Sexist imho.
I thought... well now.. BELIEVE people when they tell you who they are!!! Really, what an awkward moment for Mitt. I agree with you.
for real - can't believe how this comment has taken off. I have a funny thing to send you..
It really was a very bizarre thing to say. Weirdo.
He's an ouche-day ag-bay.
The term "binder" is and was used in the business world and even in real life for a book with three spirals. Nothing more, nothing less. A boss "searches" out qualifed men & women, that is what ads in papers and employment agencies are for. If you can get a personal referral, all the better. They aren't just standing on a corner waiting to be handed a job. Oh, by the way, I am a woman but have more important issues that I am concerned about.
Ms Anonymous - I do believe you are a point-misser. That's okay because while you think you are anonymous, you weren't clever enough to hide your internet footprints. #youusequotestoomuch
Yes, Ms. Anonymous.. you missed the point entirely. Anonymous is cowardly too. Just sayin.
Found that highly insulting. But then consider the source.
Annon....Are you really a woman?
I learned a lot from posting this particular opinion. Good and bad!
Smooches to all of you guys though. It's nice to have such a nice place to fall.
