Tag and Out!

I have been tagged by the smart and lovely Marnie from over at What Red Said. I'm gonna get that girl!

Why is it when I start reading the rules I want to break each and every one! I'm a bad bad girl.

The Rules Are:
1. You must post the rules.
2. Post eleven fun facts about yourself on the blog post. (isn't this one redundant?)
3. Answer the questions the tagger set for you in their post and then create eleven new questions to ask the people you've tagged.
4. Tag eleven bloggers, however, you can break the rules and tag fewer people if you want.
5. Let them know you've tagged them!
6. Have fun!

These are the questions that Marnie is sending out to her tagees:

1. Favorite all-time junk food...what is it?
Doritos. I have a hard time even walking by the small grab-bags at Target's check-out lines! If you want to get lucky with me, just bring me a bag of Doritos. Yes, dating me was that easy.

2. What was your first job?
I worked at a movie theater as a cashier when I was in high school. One of those old fashioned theaters where the cashier sat in a window right on the sidewalk practically. Made doing anything untoward very very difficult. Not that I ever wanted to, but just saying, you know, if I HAD wanted to . . . {awkward silence]

3. Have you ever been in a fist fight?
What? No no no. I have made a couple of people cry with my words though. I can be a mean beasty-girl if I think I need to be.

4. Octomom...hot or not?
Swoosh. That was the sound of the question flying right on by me.

5. What kind of car do you drive?
I drive a 2005 Jeep Wrangler named Ruby. I love her.

6. How often do you shower?
Every day. Maybe not on Sundays sometimes. Lucky husband!

7. Do you have any tattoos? If so, how many?
I have one little tattoo on my left foot. I am considering another one. I've heard no one can stop at just one. Kinda like Doritos. Or is that potato chips?

8. If you could have dinner with anyone in the world (dead or alive) who would it be?
Hmm . . . Dorothy Parker. I think we would have been great friends. I hope she would have found me not only annoying, but a bit entertaining.

9. What book are you reading now?
Keith Richard's bio.

10. Rhett or Ashley from Gone with the Wind? Choose.
I would want Rhett Butler to look at me like this. Mmmm!

11. Do you make your bed in the morning?
Every damn day.

I am tagging these bloggers cuz I want to know a few things:

So. Cal. Gal from Just a chick in a chair . . .
Shabbgal from Shabby Nest
Brett from Silvergirl
T from Learning to Exhale
Lisa from Not So Simply Single
Karen from This Old House 2

My Questions:
  1. Left or right handed?
  2. Introvert or extrovert?
  3. Dog or cat?
  4. Coffee or tea?
  5. Cream or black?
  6. Carnivore or vegetarian?
  7. Stairs or escalator?
  8. Shopper or buyer?
  9. Dancer or drinker? {you know, at the clubs - heh}
  10. Car singer or car dancer?
  11. Naked or jammies?
I can't wait for the answers!

Rock em and sock em hooches . . . smooch.

Tag!

I have been tagged by the beautiful and talented Karen over at This Old House. You need to check out her place toot sweet. She and her family are remodeling a gorgeous old house and every detail she chronicles makes me want to move in with her and pretend I belong. How long do you think it would take for her to notice?

The Tag Rules:
  1. Go to your first photo file and pick the 10th photo in it.
  2. Tell the story behind the photo.
  3. Tag 5 other people to do likewise.
Here's what I got. Truth be told, this photo is number ten of the last import, but I'm using it anyway!
The Story
Pup and I got married last June in Vegas. He likes Vegas and we really didn't want to make much fuss since this is #2 for both of us. We like to explain that it wasn't the wedding that was important, but the marriage.

We went with my daughters (in photo), my new SonIL - the Big B, one of Pup's sisters and the bro-in-law that he works with.

We had a wonderful and relaxing time. Serious fun.

We laid by the pool during the day, hung out in the sport book, did lots of shopping.

Now that I'm into telling this story, I realize it sounds like I'm in Vegas all the time. I don't even like to gamble! Crazy.

Sarah Bella and Lorenzo got tattoos - such a Vegas thing to do right? Lorenzo's second, but Bella's first. Darling tattoos of their own design. Both of the tats are cute and meaningful to both girls. It was a weirdly family-bonding thing to do. Pup didn't want me to get mine there (I'm not sure why now that I think about it) so I waited until we got home and I had a friend of Bella's do his magic.

This shot is one day when Pup and I were wandering around getting presents for the family. We called the girls and had them meet us for lunch. We sat in the bar eating our fried zuke and chicken strips watching tributes to Michael Jackson on the big screen (he died the day we got married).

Such a great trip. I love family trips!

My Loves Do It Good

I've been tagged by the lovely and talented Danielle. Check out her digs! She has mad-love for awesome nail color and 80s music! Smooches.

I am to tell seven interesting things about myself . . . hmm . . . this could take some time.
  1. When I was little I had irrational fears of both escalators and docks. I always thought one would eat me up and the other one would throw me off. Weird little kid.
  2. This one isn't as interesting as it is a commonly-held guilty pleasure. I like driving in my car and seriously singing at the top of my lungs. I bounce in my carseat, hit the steering wheel with emphasis, shake my head, play the same song over and over (Journey!). I have a HUGE delusion that someday, somehow, I'm going to be discovered.
  3. I can't go barefoot. I cannot STAND to feel stuff under my toes. Blech and scary!
  4. I cannot go into a store without checking out their handbags. I just KNOW if I don't that I will miss out on something fabulous.
  5. I laugh loudly and often. I've had people look at me in disbelief and I've had people search me out to see who is attached to that laugh. Either is fine with me. I'm a loud girl!
  6. I played trombone in school. First chair.
  7. I had 60s love way before it was cool. I have a 60s style phone in my kitchen (huge tank I call it) and whenever someone new comes over they always say, "Does that work? Can I dial it and call someone"? Yeah dude, it's how the world used to work.
Danielle has me thinking, once again, about 80s music. Here is something for a little listen . . .

My First Tag and My First Spam

Spam excited me!

Well, I DO live in Minnesota - home of Spam. Don't lie, you like Spam too. Want some of my Trailer Park Salad? Num!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The lovely Niki tagged me so I will do my best to answer these questions:
Do you have any piercings?
Two. I had three . . . but there was a mind-searing accident. Don't make me talk about it.
Do you have any tattoos?
One
Have you ever told anyone they were fat?
Oh my goodness no! Well, maybe behind their big arse, but NO!
Have you ever told anyone that you loved them but didn’t mean it?
Never
Have you ever done a hit and run? For example, accidentally scratching the car beside yours and then driving off?
Nope, I'm the one who always leaves a note. It might only say, Hey, I'm leaving a note because people are watching, but it WAS a note. Technically.
Have you ever lied for financial gain?
Do taxes count? (don't read this Pup)
Have you ever stalked anyone? For example, lurking on facebook?
Do I have to answer this one? Does it lessen the offense if I was drinking?
Have you ever started liking a guy/girl only because your best friend told you that they had a crush on them?
Heavens, no
Have you ever dated your best friend's ex-gf/ex-bf behind your bff's back?
Good grief, no
Have you ever stolen?
You know, maybe? But I really don't think so. I did walk out of a pet food warehouse once with extra balls in my bag, but that's another story for another day
Have you ever blackmailed anyone?
I don't know how! Or I surely would have.
Have you ever bribed someone to have your way?
Bribed with what? Again, sounds like a useful talent I do not have.
Have you ever cheated in school?
I've tried, believe me, I've tried
Have you ever stood anyone up on a date?
My husband! Our first date never happened because I changed my mind.
Have you ever lied in a job interview or on a resume?
Isn't that called "creative license"?
Have you ever logged into or looked at a girlfriend or boyfriends facebook or email account to see if they were talking about you?
No Facebook account. What could be comparable? . . . I'm sure I would though.
Have you ever been in a physical confrontation?
Somehow I've made it through my life without hitting anyone. I'm a mean-talker when provoked though. I've made people cry. Is that bad? (sheepish)
Have you ever made a small kid cry by harassing him/her?
No! That's horrible.
Have you ever used your work computer for non-professional purposes?
I plead the fifth please.
