I like these cold, gray winter days. Days like these let you savor a bad mood.

Great Japanese proverb. They can speak such volume with so few words.

I'm really laughing out loud at the winter's way of saying "Up Yours" quote. Ha! That's funny. Also funny? Your "spiled" definition. I could just hear it being said in North Carolina...or here in Texas, too!
wow - if I saw that out my window, I'd make cookies too. Where do you live?
My fav cousin called today to moan about the weather. After she finally wound down, I asked, "And you live in MN why?" She laughed and replied, "I wonder that myself sometimes."
I almost felt guilty about telling her it was 79 degrees here today.
Almost.
I have to disagree: one kind word can not always warm up three winter months...not to mention, where I live, it's more like 5 winter months, and not even heat warms up this place. Nice try Mr. Japanese Proverb :)
Ah, this must be that "change of seasons" I have heard about!
I like cookies.
WoW That is a lot of snow!
I think making cookies is about all you can do.
I can't imagine how you cope with all of that snow.
I hear ya! We just ha
d our first blizzard last night. I really still haven't figured out why I still live in this climate! Have a yummy cookie for me! Traci
Love the quotes and the photos are awesome. Can't wait til we get some snow.
Di - I know! I wish I could say so much with so few words. Not gonna happen I'm thinking.
Kelley - that game at your place is the best! I think all the words need to be placed in our new lexicon.
David - it could be a fatter winter around here if this keeps up. Ha!
JJ - everyone who lives here asks themselves that question at least once a winter. Some of us every day. JK!
Sandra - your winter is the same as Minnesotas? I'll have to see where you live. Hell?
RJ - yes, you may not know about this phenom
Daisy - I agree! And I'll use any excuse
silvergirl - from summer we wonder as well; then when winter happens, we know just what to do
Traci - you guys too? I hear there will be lots of babies born about nine months from now.
Marla - do you love the snow?
